CLEANING

Improper cleaning can damage your piano.

Like any object that sits stationary, is used over a period of time, or falls under new ownership, pianos need cleaning to maintain their luster, proper maintenance, and ideal playing ability. Tips for cleaning include keeping the keyboard covered when not in use, occasionally cleaning the keys with a damp cloth and then immediately drying them, and avoiding the use of harsh chemicals or solvents on your piano to help it look and keep it at its best.

Before attempting to to remove any troublesome spots, build up, or imperfections to the exterior of the piano, or before attempting to clean any parts of the interior of the piano - all of which can damage and decrease the vaue of the piano- call the professionals at Bangert Piano. We offer professional cleaning of both upright and grand pianos.
